ABOUT US

We are Jody and Heidi Bates, (a.k.a The Bates Motel), and we are the wagonmasters for the New England Rally. We have been apart of the Grand Design family since 2018 and travel this beautiful country in our Imagine 2970RL with our three dogs and our cat.

We truly enjoy the rv life and spend about 6-7 months out of the year traveling. We love to have fun and meet new people. 

Some random, fun facts about us.....We are ordained ministers. We married some Grand Design friends in 2022 in beautiful Destin, Florida. Our camper is named The Bates Motel and recently had a face lift from BGS in Indiana. We love to host a site at camper crawls. Our first rally was in late 2019 in the Mid Atlantic, (we were hooked). Jody use to be in a band. Heidi use to show exotic cats and was even on Animal Planet. We are destined to be lotto winners. LOL... Fingers crossed for that one.

We never imagined that a camper would bring us into a family. We feel truly blessed to have this life and we hope to make you laugh when you meet us!
